Intro to Squirrels 201: "The Squirrels of Brevard, North Carolina"

Welcome back to Squirrel University! We thought we'd start you off this schoolyear with some easy work. We would like to thank Christy Hargrove of the University of North Carolina at Asheville for providing us with the material for this lesson. Her website is called Squirrels R Us.

First of all, please check out the pics she has on her site. These include pictures of somewhat rare Red Squirrels and the very rare White Squirrels.

We've seen a lot of pictures of squirrels and appreciate the variety and quality Squirrel R Us has. Next, the site also has some interesting information about squirrels. We've alluded to the existence of White Squirrels above.  Christy says that White Squirrels are the town mascot of Brevard, North Carolina. There are very few places where White Squirrels exist. Click here for more information.

That's all for Squirrels 201. We thought we'd start off the new year relatively easy. Enjoy and please stop back and visit us again sometime.
